Design Manchester 10 x 10 show

I was invited to make a new piece for the Design Manchester 10 x 10 show on the theme of ‘Longevity’ It was printed by the marvellous hands of William Chitham. Go see it if you are in Manchester. Here’s the blurb…

“From Thursday 15th August the Bench Self Made Gallery hosts Design Manchester’s 10 x 10, a collaborative exhibition produced by Manchester’s creative community to launch the first annual creative festival Design Manchester, sponsored by the Manchester School of Art, part of Manchester Metropolitan University, which is celebrating its 175th anniversary this year. 10 x 10, is an exhibition of ten collaborative works on the theme of longevity produced by local artists and designers”

IOU Theatre

I was commissioned by IOU and Studio Contents to work on a re-visualisation of the iconic northern theatre company. 37 years of history and archival objects/material was a hard one to get my head around. Design week just ran a pice on the work here. Full IOU site here.
