Snowdon Summit 05/01/13

I climbed alone up the Snowdon Ranger route to clear the seasonal turkey cobwebs.

I starting walking before the sun came up and so the mountain was deserted, I struggled through relentless cloud and wind the whole way, the never being able to see more than 20 yards all around me really added to the isolation.
Turning my back from the view above I was into the wind again trying to catch my breath and heat my frozen fingers, it was then that I saw my first Brocken Spectre or Mountain Ghost…
